This practice is amazing; the entire staff is overwhelmingly kind and positive and made the process so easy. I do not love a dental visit and (if not for my husband’s insistence) would have cancelled; but as soon as I was greeted my anxiety lessened. The environment alone was so calming. I have never previously looked forward to a dentist appointment, but that has changed for me. I went in expecting the absolute worst and left feeling so buoyed and genuinely excited for my next appointment.

As a brand new patient, the experience with my initial visit for an exam & cleaning went very well.
We arrived before the appointment time and I was taken into an exam room within 15 minutes.
The exam was very gentle and thorough.
As was the teeth cleaning which I needed.
My only complaint is that the facility was too cold for my liking.
But I am on blood thinners, so I'll just remember to bring a sweater for my next visit.

I'm never left waiting in the lobby. I feel that I have developed a very friendly professional relationship with my dentist and his assistant. I have not experienced excessive bleeding or pain. I have yet to take a pain med stronger than an advil although they have been made available. No procedure has taken more than one hour. I'm incredibly pleased with my choice to come to Virginia Family Dentistry. Dr. Larkin and Barb are exceptional professionals!

BEST SERVICE YOU CAN GET! Walked in at 4:15 with a shattered tooth they were so friendly and helpful my anxiety is super big around my teeth and they did the most they could to make me feel relaxed and at ease. Def refering more people here!

This practice is, without question, the best Ive ever experienced! I’ve had three appointments and one major procedure in the last several weeks, and each one of those has been professional, caring and friendly. Dr Mark, Dr Lyons, Amanda and the rest of the staff all worked to ensure that I was comfortable - everyone made me feel as if I was the only patient in the clinic. I have been terrified of dentists my entire life..not anymore! This practice will be the only place I’ll go to for any type of dental work for the rest of my life.
