My husband & I had our first visits with TFD today. We were very apprehensive, but when we left were full of praise. The reception staff was very pleasant & efficient. We were there to meet a new hygienist and a new dentist. Both of us saw a different care team. I left asking my records to show that on return visits, I wanted to see the same hygienist & dentist. My husband said he’d had the best dental care he’s ever had. At 84, he’s had a lot of dental care. We totally recommend Triangle Family Dentistry on 3415 Rodgers, Wake Forest, N. C.

This review applies to both locations in Wake Forest, as I have had work done at both. I’ve been a patient at Triangle Family Dentistry for a few years now and really liked the people there. But I’ve had some major issues with their policies. I had three fillings done at the same time by a dentist in January 2023. Eight months later, one filling fell out, and 18 months later, another one fell out. The first time, I had to argue to get it refilled, and another dentist in the group eventually did it. The second time, a different dentist decided not to refill it, saying it might be due to grinding and their policy only covers a year. The original dentist who did the fillings offered to redo it for free, but I didn't want to go back to the same dentist since two out of the three fillings had already failed. My insurance wouldn’t cover a second filling because they only allow one filling per tooth every 36 months.
I’m really disappointed with the lack of customer satisfaction at Triangle Family Dentistry. It feels like I’m just a number to them rather than a valued patient, especially since they’re such a big dental group in the area. Their focus on policies over patient care has left me feeling ignored and frustrated. Everyone there is nice, and I enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned, but I recommend finding a dentist who will get it right the first time and a dental group that stands by their reputation, especially if you’re paying out of pocket. We have used this office for years, but the customer service has significantly decreased lately. Perhaps under new ownership?
I scheduled an appointment for my son’s dental cleaning and when we showed up on time the front desk staff told me that the appointment had not been confirmed by their automated text or phone calls. Although he would be seen today, in the future if not “confirmed” by me, he cannot be seen. I “confirmed” when I made the appointment a week ago. This is bogus. And she was rude insisting their policy is as it stands.
I recognize penalizing me for a “no show” is standard but not NOT responding to their automated text.
I’ve also had other instances where my insurance was not verified properly by the front desk which caused me to have to reschedule an appointment. I will be going elsewhere.

Had my first appointment at the Wake forest location in October. My Hygienist Jasmine was great. Very nice and professional. Dental assistant Sophie was very helpful as well and friendly. Very great team and experience here.

I've been going here for my dental needs for years now, and while going to the dentist is far from my favorite thing to do, the staff always make it an easy experience. Particularly Laura, as she usually helps me when I'm there. Overall, it is a great place to go for your dental needs!
