Doctor Chen is amazing! Even before I actually experienced her Kindness the reception desk was awesome and quick to retun my call although it was 10 minutes before closing time. They fit me in for a next day, first thing in the morning appointment. I went in as a new patient expecting to get as far as x-rays and talk about a plan to get my teeth to the right state. Doctor Chen did more than that, She didn't want me to leave without seeing her magnificent results. I had a small time frame which was totally my fault But she was more than willing to work with me. In just 30 minutes she boosted myself confidence and made me feel proud to smile. I wanted to hug her because she's just a kind human being for doing more than what she needed to. Thank you all so so much.❤
Very poor experience. They are just trying to rip you off. GO OVER YOUR BILL. They mislabeled and itemized things that didn’t occur. I had my two wisdoms pulled and they labeled them as “non-erupted” when they clearly were simply because the “non-erupted” is a prettier penny. When I brought it to their attention they argued with me. I’m not a dentist so who am I to not believe them. It’s just sad you can’t trust your own dentist nowadays. The whole time you’re there they are just trying to sell you on things. They had me do like 10 different scans that you pay for individually when all I needed wanted was a cleaning initially. Just horrible business model.
Went for a routine cleaning in June and was very pleased that there was so much availability. That's about the only thing I was satisfied with at this office. I was told I needed 8 fillings for cavities. The x-rays they showed me looked fine, but the dentist insisted that my teeth were full of holes. I felt very pressured to get all 8 fillings the SAME day, which is not a pleasant or cheap experience. I have never had any problems with my teeth, I clean and floss regularly, and have never had any indication that I had cavities or a need for 8 fillings. I felt like something was wrong, so I declined and went to another dentist for a second opinion a few weeks later. I got the same x-rays and scans. NO CAVITIES and I was told I needed no fillings because my teeth were perfectly healthy. I do not recommend Ideal. They would have drilled into my healthy teeth to meet their corporate quotas without a second thought.
Went for a cleaning in March. I was pregnant then and needed clearance from my doctor so I had brought a letter from my doctor that I received that morning saying I was cleared for x-rays. Upon arriving the man at the front desk didn’t believe that this was a real letter so I had to wait an extra 45 minutes for them to call my Obgyn. Once I finally got back I had x-rays and an exam done and then waited another HOUR for the man from earlier, not the dentist who did my exam, to come back and tell me that I had to replace old filings and get 2 more cavities filled. Was told this was going to be $1400 but the man was going to give me a “special discount that he could get in trouble for giving me” and that I’d only have to pay $1000 out of pocket. Well that “special discount” he was offering me was just what insurance covered after I hit my $1000 deductible. When I mentioned this he tried to work around what he actually meant. I was also told that they wouldn’t do the cleaning until after I had my fillings done so that was also going to go towards my deductible instead of being free like its supposed to be. I didn’t feel comfortable with that and with the way the guy was clearly trying to pull one over on me so I left but still had to be a $50 fee for the exam since I didn’t have my cleaning done. After going to another dentist, I was told that all my old fillings looked great and I had no cavities that needed to be filled and had my cleaning done for free (like it’s supposed to be). The only cost I had to pay for this time was $66 because my insurance wouldn’t cover another exam since I had one in march. So now I’m wondering why I had to pay the $50 fee if my insurance covered my last exam. Terrible professionalism by the administration staff and clearly running a scam to take advantage of people. DO NOT recommend.
They are the best Dentistry. My Son has only been going there for a few months. They had to correct the wrong of another Dentistry. They are always so welcoming and when they found out, he was graduating they were so kind enough to shower him with balloons and a gift/card. He enjoys going to the Dentistry. Dr. Sebastian is a sweetheart. The staff is amazing, so fun loving. Thank you all so very much.
