If what you're looking for is a good dentist, go somewhere else. All Stansell is good for is teeth cleaning. You'll normally see a real dentist for less than 5 minutes. In the last year they replaced a filling that I had been having no problems with. The replacement was much larger than the original tooth, was a totally mismatched color and, to make things worse, started causing me pain. They ignored my complaints about it. For gum sensitivity I was having they prescribed a mouth guard, which cost $1500, and a special gargle. They told me to renew the RX for the gargle when needed. The sensitivity increased after the mouthguard and my subsequent dentist told me the gargle should only be used for 2 weeks. I showed them some discoloration on my front teeth and they told me to use a whitening toothpaste. My subsequent dentist sad it was the dentin being exposed. Again, if teeth cleaning is all you want, Stansell is fine. If you want dentistry, go somewhere else...FAST!

I've been a patient at Stansell for a couple of months now, and I couldn't be happier with the care I receive there. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and professional, making each visit pleasant and stress-free. They provide top-notch dental care in a welcoming environment, and I always leave with a smile!

I've been a patient at Stansell Dentistry for a few years now, before they moved to their current location. Their new office is really nice and the staff are always friendly. I haven't had any issues scheduling appointments and find them to be transparent with pricing.

I have been a patient for over 6 years but at this point, this dental practice is not worth the headache. There is always an issue when it comes to billing. I routinely visit every 3 months to get my teeth cleaned. I had an appointment scheduled today for a cleaning that was booked three months prior. I received 5 phone call confirmations last week to confirm the appointment. This morning they called to inform me that I have a balance and if it wasn’t paid today, I could not receive my cleaning. I never received a bill from them via email or mail, nor did they mention a balance during any prior phone calls.
Stansell is 100% not worth the headache. There are plenty of other dental clinics in the area.

I’ve been going here basically since they opened in the first Brier Creek location and have seen the quality unfortunately decline. It seems like they've grown too quick for their own good and have pivoted from a local, reliable dentist you could come back to as a return patient and build rapport with to one that is more focused on getting more and more patients through the doors and cutting costs to produce the most revenue possible.
As of the past couple years, it seems to be mostly contract hygienists who they (I assume) hire as temps instead of regular W-2 employees. The temporary employees are often unfamiliar, and the quality of the cleaning varies widely. You can try scheduling a return visit with the same hygienist but end up getting a completely new one every time.
The same issue extends to the doctors. I understand it’s not feasible to see Dr. Stansell every time, but some consistency would be nice. The quality of doctors has fallen, with chairside manners not being what they used to be.
Ultimately, it seems to be an issue with recruiting and retaining employees, which needs to be fixed and a return to focusing on the quality of the experience even if it costs slightly more to the bottom line.
