My experience with Dr.Hoyle's Family Dentistry was a very confusing one and I am still trying to figure out what they charged that amount of money for , which was over a $1000.I paid $462 out of pocket and my insurance paid the balance.I was overcharged by a minimal amount which they did not call to inform me about. I learned about the correct charges from my insurance , and I still have not received my refund as they are trying to give me the run-around.The receptionist at the front desk is changing her tone and getting rude when I asked for my refund. She stated that she cannot tell me about the refund and she does not know when I will get it. However , she was the same person who collected my cards to take the payment from me.l was told by another employee that she has to ask Dr.Hoyle when he comes back in office .Why did they overcharge me? Why didn't I get a call to say that I have a refund? Why did I have to find out from my insurance ? Why does the staff keep sending me emails, text messages to say my appointment for a cleaning is past due when I did the so- called cleaning on December 27, 2023 , and it is still not 6 months as yet? Based on what I observed when I visited this dental place, they are only interested in money and not about giving quality service to some people.I cannot say all because I have seen where some people have given good reviews , and I have also seen bad reviews. It was not a good experience for me.The staff was friendly and courteous, which made me feel comfortable until I realized the service was poor and they are not true to their words. I visited this dental place four months ago and was attended to by a young female dentist who claimed she did deep cleaning for all four quarters of my mouth in a relatively short time. She told me that she will start my cleaning and then leave to go and do another patient's cleaning, then come back and complete my cleaning. I did not agree to her leaving to go and attend to another patient and come back to me , so she decided to complete my cleaning first. She told me that I should come back on February 3, 2024 to polish my teeth. That indicated that she was in a hurry to go and attend to other patients , or to the particular patient she made reference to.Why didn't she polish my teeth then? Why would I have to go back to another appointment one month and a few days after to polish my teeth? My initial visit was on December 27, 2023. I believe they wanted to charge me more money because when I called the office to ask about the appointment for February 3, 2024, the receptionist told me that it was for cleaning.I told her that it did not make any sense because I just did a cleaning on December 27, 2023 , and the lady who did my so -called cleaning told me that it was for polishing. There were red flags there already; too many young, practicing dentists, in my opinion. When I went to Dr.Hoyle's dental place I had almost my full dental benefits that would have expired on December 31, four days after I visited them .They took two months plus to submit my dental bill to the insurance because I believe that they were waiting for me to come back for the other cleaning after just one month so that they could conclude the bill , and then they would send it off to the insurance .I had a broken tooth to be extracted, fillings to be done, etc, and I was unable to get those appointments, but I was able to get another appointment made by that same female dentist to polish my teeth , and or to do another cleaning in one month and a few days after the first so-called cleaning ? I wish I could give them 0 stars.I had issues with my gum and after my examination with another female , I asked her if I had that issue. She said yes , but told me it was nothing to worry about. I have never heard of a gum issue not being something serious. This is gross negligence and shows how cavalier some of these persons who should be providing quality service to patients can be, and how they care zero about their patients.

Anyone that know this practice knows we are a family oriented practice! My 3 year old daughter sometime comes with me when daycare opens up late! Dr. Hoyle is the most genuine person I know! He is very involved with the community and does excellent work!

At first when i walked into the building i thought to myself “i have chosen the wrong dentist” because the building is outdated but once i walked into the family dentistry i was proven wrong. And then after seeing the Dentist i knew i was at the best spot for me. Highly recommend and will be moving my whole family to this dentist.

Clean (but dated) waiting room, front desk lady was not very knowledgeable with anything dental, kept having to call for help..maybe she was new. the assistant was average, nice; but seemed unhappy in life or had just got broken up with, you could just tell she is sad, didn’t hide her feelings well. I would expect that from a young girl but this woman, although long blonde hair, was probably in early 60s. She and Dr Hoyle seemed to know each other well, maybe a bit too well for a professional relationship. Personally he made me uncomfortable, not with dental work but in every other way that I will not return back. He gave creepy uncle vibes like “I won’t tell if you won’t”. From the looks then the knee touch was my final straw. I am your patient a quarter of your age, not a friend, not your assistant that you are overly friendly with. I hope others will speak up because I know I wasn’t the first nor the last. Dads, watch your girls, and to my fellow ladies, just go somewhere else it’s not worth the uncomfortable feeling by a professional that thinks he is entitled because the assistant allows it.
