Once upon a time I was 18 years old. I came here with 8 cavities. I was eating a lot of candy in college. They filled the cavities. My father lost his job. I didn’t have insurance any longer. I did not eat candy or drink sodas for two years until I could afford my own dental insurance. The next dentist told me I had 8 cavities in the same exact locations, except this time, the decay ate away at my teeth to the point I had to get 5 root canals. I’ve put over 10k into my mouth over the last ten years because of this careless mistake and I’ll never forgive them. Worst part is, I couldn’t sue because by the time I found out, the statute of limitations had run its course.

I love these people. The Dr is awesome, straightforward, calm, cool, and collected. His secretary is very knowledgeable, nice, and personable. My husband and I have been going here for years. They were even able to work my children in when I needed to get them in somewhere fast and convenient.

I called them a couple of weeks ago because my daughter had a toothache.
I thought they would get her in as she is an established patient to provide her with pain management medicine and help make her comfortable until they could see her for resolution (filling or root canal).
They told her she would have to wait at least 2-3 weeks to be seen! We knew we couldn’t wait 2-3 weeks when she had an active toothache.
We took her to Southern Smiles Dental because they welcomed urgent issues that were causing pain. She went and they confirmed it was a cavity that needed root canal. They prescribed her amoxicillin for the bacteria which in turn would help her pain. It helped immensely!
Fast forward to today, we kept her scheduled appoint with Payne for the actual exam confirming and work to be done.
She went to her appointment and they turned her away because she went to another Dentist several weeks ago for the pain they did not see her for!
I’ve never heard of such a thing. Southern Smiles Dentist had excellent customer service too! Needless to say Payne will not be missed.
We hope they treat their patients better in the future. From my experience and most of these reviews, they need some serious work.

I came here with my husband and whoever it was that came to the door was very rude. When we called you should’ve told us over the phone that the only person allowed inside is the patient. But to come to the door with a attitude is unacceptable. If I ever needed to be seen due to her attitude I would never come here. First of all nobody is practicing under Covid anymore and secondly learn how to have better customer service because you have lost me as a future patient already. I will continue to go to All Smiles and Wellness where they now how to talk and treat people.

My first time ever calling over to request information for another patient for a dental office. I'm not sure who answer the phone. Upon requesting info for the patient, she was rude and stated that she couldn't just stop what she is doing to send the info and that info that I requesting is normally asked for 2 to 3 days prior to the patient appt. I never ask her to stop what she was doing to send the info but I did ask could she send the info because the patient was in the office waiting. So for future patient, please ask for your info before leaving the office if you have to be refer out. I'm glad this case was not an emergency the way I was treated on the phone. Please do better.
