I have been a patient here for the past two years. I recently had an insurance change and I called and spoke with Dawn. I gave her my new insurance information and asked "is my cleaning covered?" and she replied "yes it is covered" so I proceeded to make an appt for my next cleaning (fyi I have asked this question before, to this clinic, with my previous insurance and was old the same things "yes it is covered"). Several weeks later I get a bill for around $130. I called them and Dawn said my insurance has been "out of network with their clinic for years". I asked her why she told me it was covered and she could not give me an answer. All she kept repeating was "we don't know your bill until we actually submit it". I should have done my due diligence and checked with my insurance but I thought I did not have to because Dawn had told me it was all covered and I "am good to go" when I called to make the appt. Today, she did not apologize once and was silent during the entire phone conversation until I told her I was going to give me credit card information to pay for my bill and she said "is it Visa?". If you knew that my insurance was OUT OF NETWORK you should NOT have told me it was covered. You should have said "it is out of network and you should check with your insurance". Instead she said "yes it is covered and let me schedule you".

I highly recommend Park Avenue Dental. The dental hygienist, Marcie Wilson, is excellent and really puts the time and effort into cleaning my teeth for optimal appearance and health. Dr. Cody always does a through evaluation and gives experienced, honest and thoughtful recommendations for everything dental health.

I can't express how awesome this place is. I live an hour away and make the drive because it's worth it!
Dr. Shane is very good at explaining everything, answering all questions, and always making you feel at ease. Dawn at the front desk is very caring and always super nice! Every one of Dr. Shane's assistants and hygienists that I've had have all been super nice and always keep great conversation. I've never had a dentist I actually enjoy going to until now!
Also, they're not out to get your money! If Dr. Shane doesn't think it's absolutely necessary he won't tell you to get something. Love this place!

It’s always a pleasure coming for my check ups here. The staff is wonderful and make every visit pleasant.
Just need to update my review, all of the above is the same but goodness we just had a visit with Natalie and Dr Shane and they are just amazing people. My daughter was so curious and Natalie had the patience of a goddess and answered all of her questions and let her be involved in my cleaning and then was so good and gentle with my daughters. And even Dr Shane involved her too. Cannot praise them enough.

This is the best dental office I've ever been too (I have moved a lot so I've been to several). The staff is genuinely friendly. The office looks and smells clean. The wait is little to none. The office space is updated and trendy. My teeth always look and feel amazing after each cleaning. The technology is up to date. They are also GREAT with children. I love this place!!
