Dr. Watson is the BEST! We absolutely love him and the whole staff at Palmetto Family Orthodontics. Our 11 yr old son has sensory and anxiety concerns, plus is the poster child for ADHD -- which makes him not the easiest patient to work on. Dr. Watson (plus Amanda and Tasha) are always so patient with him. Even when there are other patients waiting, they have never seemed in a hurry or frustrated. They are able to easily "talk him into" whatever needs to be done. He actually looks forward to going to the orthodontist, which is a blessing to me. Dr. Watson is a big kid (a very competent and knowledgeable big kid) whose office atmosphere is inviting. When our son had to have head gear, Dr. Watson eased him into it by making up this whole "ninja" story (which my son completely loved). Dr. Watson even presented our son with a certificate of his very own secret ninja name in a small ceremony -- how fun was that! At one visit, there were two very loose teeth in the way of something that needed to be done, and Dr. Watson (using his specialized ninja training, I suppose) was able to pull them while having a conversation about school without my son even noticing. I would never have believed this had I not been sitting right there -- I was as surprised as my son when Dr. Watson held up the 2 teeth. We highly recommend Dr. Watson and Palmetto Family Orthodontics.
