    I selected this dentist office a couple years ago from a list provided by my dental insurance company. I enjoyed going here. On my last visit, they confirmed by insurance with me and I completed my appointment. It wasn't until I received my bill that I discovered they were no longer in network and hadn't been for 6 months. They could have mentioned this to me when I arrived and they verified my insurance. Not a great way to run a business.

    Very uncomfortable experience here!! The dental hygienist is professional and personable, though. Cannot say the same for the dentist. Dinkelman put my filling in too deep/ did not numb me all the way/ and did not check on me when I was very visibly jerking from the pain. Had to get my filling fixed elsewhere - will not be going back Overall bad vibes from this practice

    Great experience! Switched to Northridge when my previous dentist since childhood in Havelock retired. Very friendly hygienist and dentist, teeth feel exceptionally clean. Already recommended them to my mom as well who also went to the same now-retired dentist.

    I'll just copy and paste a previous comment: "Front desk worker was extremely rude," and add that she is also extremely incompetent and likes to blame the patient. Be ready to come into a desolate office and yet wait 10 minutes just to be recognized by the "receptionist/office-manager" because she is discussing with another patient the hypothetical financing options of the hypothetical procedures he might want to get. Also be ready for the "receptionist/office-manager" to get your billing information wrong, including address and email. Be ready for it to be your fault. Personally, how I have managed not to botch giving out my personal information at other healthcare organizations I will never know. At any rate, this became an issue because I had a bill for $300 from the previous visit. At first this did not appear to be an issue--I wanted to pay Carecredit and I did not have the card with me. My mistake was to suggest to the 'receptionist/office-manager" that they could have informed me of the bill via the same text that informed me I had an appointment. Suddenly, I had to pay up front. And if you point out that your appointment is for 9:30 am, be ready to be dismissively told that it was for 9:45 am--even though you have two texts stating 9:30 am. My only regret is that the Dentist and Dental Hygienist were good. But honestly why have such a terrible human being at the reception desk?

    I had the most wonderful experience at Northridge Dental. The staff was friendly. The office was nicely decorated. I wasn't pressured into dental work that I didn't actually need. My appointment went smoothly and I was seen at my appointment time and didn't have to wait. The dentist was honest and caring about need dental health needs. I highly recommend Dr. Dinkelman!
