The dentistry has had a whole dynamic shift in the worst way. They’ve called me and rescheduled my appointment, when I arrived to an 11:30am appointment I was placed in a room given a shot to numb my gums and sat there until almost 2pm for an assistant to come in and say the dentist now running the dentistry can’t see me for another hour or so due to an “emergency” outside of the dentistry. I ended up rescheduling although already now being late for class and living almost an hour away. I understand unforeseen circumstances but there seems to be a pattern now every since ownership has changed. Hate to leave this review but it is not being management the same. Will update after rescheduled appointment

My recent visit to Moores Chapel Dentistry on 9/7/23 was a bit disconcerting. When I called the office to schedule an appointment, the female I spoke with was less than professional. After the appointment was scheduled, I asked her to please "email" me any paperwork that I would need to complete. She said that I would "receive appointment reminders and the required paperwork to be completed via text. I then made her aware that it was important that I received the l paperwork via email. She then agreed to email me the paperwork. I had not received the paperwork and it was now the day before my scheduled visit. So I called the dentist office to inquire. I informed the female who answered the phone that I had not receive the email which was promised several days before. I confirmed she had the correct email address by having her repeat the address to me. I stressed again the importance of them emailing the paperwork to me. She then promised that she would email the papers to me "shortly". I checked my email several times that afternoon and evening for the email she promised. It never came. The following day I arrived for my 9AM appointment. The lady at the check-in said that there were paperwork I needed to fill out. She then handed me an e-tablet with no instructions on how to use it. The tablet timed out several times requiring a password to sign back in. The tablet also froze a few times making it necessary to ask for assistance from the receptionist a few times. Each time I asked her for assistance, she responded with a negative attitude. In approximately 45-minutes I completed the paperwork. When I handed the pad to the young lady, I confirmed that she was indeed the person I had spoken with to just the previous day. I also inquired if Moores Chapel Dentistry still had email capability, which she said it does. It was now almost 10am and only apathy had been exhibited toward me since my arrival to this point. Never was an apology or explanation even attempted for her not emailing the paperwork in advance as I had passionately requested on two occasions. In contrast when I visited this office in August 2021, I was emailed all needed paperwork in ADVANCE of my arrival to the office. The front office staff in 2021 also displayed professional with empathy. After being examined by Dr. Andy I asked about a cleaning. He said he did not think that a deep cleaning was needed at that time because the x-rays did not show a lot of buildup. I was then directed to meet with the other female in the front office for a periodontist referral while he checks to see if the dental hygienist could fit me in that same day. The lady I met with gave me an estimated fee for that day, which I thought was for a regular cleaning. I was then taken back to an examining room and the Dental Hygienist came in. (I think her name is Katie. She is simply OUTSTANDING!!) Anyway, somewhere after Dr. Andy and I had agreed on the regular cleaning which I was excited about, it had changed to a deep cleaning without my knowledge. I made Katie aware of what Dr. Andy and I had discussed only a few minutes earlier. Katie, went directly to get clarification from Dr. Andy and that's when he took the time to explained to me that the he had changed his mind and that a deep cleaning is what I would get. I inquired of the reason for the change. He said because of the insurance??
