We can't say enough wonderful things about McLean Family Dentistry. This was our first visit at the new location and it is beautiful. Clean, inviting, very welcoming. The staff at reception are always so kind and helpful and the care team is friendly, patient, and flexible especially with our two year old. This practice is so good with kids, especially toddlers with TVs in the ceiling, kid friendly tools, and the treasure chest at the end of your visit. Highly, highly recommend!

Elizabeth and Dr. Assar were thorough, provided excellent care and very thoughtful with their treatment plan. Everyone in the office is very kind and approachable and made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommend them.

I have been a patient of Dr Chand offices for 2 years. Every visit was with a different doctor. The last one (dr Arbabi) found I have 4 caries since my last control 6 months ago (I had not had need for dental work for the last 8 years) and have been shocked learning this. She recommended crowns and warned me that in the next 5 yrs I would need even more crowns given my existing dental work. I started asking questions regarding the treatment proposed and from there the discussion became difficult, the dr was obviously fussed by my inquiries and search for alternatives - after all, I will have to live with their work and pay for all of it. The dr accused me of “wanting to change the treatment” at this point and did not allow me to further discuss the status of my oral health. She left rushing and did not even point out exactly the 4 teeth with problems.
I have asked the reception desk to send me the x-rays and have sent them to another dr for evaluation. The other dr did not see signs of cavities based on those same x-rays. I will also go for a visit in person to make sure I have a second opinion.
Whichever the case will be for me, dr Arbabi did not act professionally and did not show any consideration for my needs as a patient, even though I will have to live with that decision. For me this is something that looks suspicious at least, and I question the medical act as being in my best interest. A dr should be able and willing to cooperate with the patient, and be available to answer the questions of a person that wants to make the best decision for themselves.
In contrast, the hygienist Joy, was very professional, friendly and compassionate, 5 stars for her.
