LWSS is NOT a family dentist for ALL families. They no longer offer pediatric dentistry so if you have children they will not be the dentist for everyone in your family. Next, they have way more patients than their practice can handle. At this point they can no longer fit people in for a six month dental cleaning. I just left my April cleaning and their next available appointment is January. What is a patient supposed to do with that. I pay for dental insurance. Am I supposed to skip my covered cleaning for the remainder of the year? Am I supposed to neglect my teeth and space out my cleanings further. It is clear that LWSS is over extended and while their working staff is amazing their management is not taking care of the patients. Off to a new practice we go.

I’ve been coming to this practice for over 35 years. The founders were brilliant men. I can’t say all the dentist are superb… but most are. We stick with Dr. Smith. 100% satisfaction! 😀

ATTN military families: Very friendly & I am sure LWSS provide excellent care. Sadly, they do not accept TRICARE. Unfortunate considering those of us who rely on TRICARE have very limited options this side of the JRB.

LWSS saved the day with a fast appointment for my son’s orthodontic issue. So grateful for them and their wonderful customer service!

So, I’m giving this review for the office managers. I no longer go to this practice. The reason? I’ve found a much better practice with much better customer service. You see, while going through chemo, one of my molars broke and became abscessed. Anyone who has gone through chemo or know someone who has, knows you can’t mess around with infections. They couldn’t get me in for weeks until my oncologist called. They got me in, it was great. I truly appreciated it. What I didn’t appreciate is the complete lack of understanding when the bill for $53 was missed by me and my husband. I was busy battling every side effect you can think of from chemo, from infections to cdiff. Not to mention the mountain of bills that come along with cancer. They sent a letter about it and I called several times, leaving voicemails for the office manager. I was never called back and, honestly, after that, it was forgotten. Fast forward a few months and I needed to get in again and they refused to book me because of the $53 bill. Even after I paid the bill and explained what was going on… I got SUCH an attitude from the office manager. So uncaring, so unsympathetic. I had to beg to get in. They eventually “allowed” me in. After that I began to look for a new dentist. I’ll stick with a practice that actually cares about their patients.
