Going to the dentist isn't usually enjoyable, but LWSS in Red Mill makes it a surprisingly pleasant experience. The office staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and the hygienists are thorough and caring with their patients. Dr. Alvis is fantastic and attentive, always ensuring your comfort. I wouldn't recommend any other dentist!

Pretty good service. To get in as a regular client take 5-6 months for a regular cleaning. If you are a new customer they get you in quickly otherwise you have to book for 5-6 months out. I gave them a lower score mainly for their systems never being up-to-date. Every time I go my insurance(the same one I have had for 10 years) needs updating.

I have been going to this dentist for years and I have no complaints. Everyone is always polite and smiling. The dentist I have seen and hygienist do some of the best work I have had. I highly recommend this family of dentist.

THANK YOU to a new member of the LWSS team, Dr. Alvis! After my periodic hygiene session Dr. Alvis came in to discuss the results of my updated x-rays. He pointed out a condition that might necessitate examination by specialists. I mentioned that I have been a patient at LWSS for more than a decade, and that never had anyone mentioned to me this condition. Dr. Alvis promised to review my x-ray archive, to get a better sense of my status. THE VERY NEXT MORNING, a few minutes before 0800, Dr. Alvis called to convey that my x-ray history shows that my condition has long been present and is stable, is NOT deteriorating, is NOT an issue of concern. He made a point of following up with me before the onset of another busy day, thereby alleviating my anxiety of the unknown. THANK YOU, Doctor Alvis!

Scheduled a new patient appointment and waited five months for the appointment. On the day of the appointment, I received a call at 7:30 a.m. for my 8:30 a.m. appointment, indicating that my dentist would be sick. All was understandable until the secretary informed me that I would have to wait an additional four months to be seen, accounting for nine months of waiting.
This practice has significant patient access issues; other options/processes should be considered to fit new/established patients in for unexpected events (like this one).
I would not recommend this location/dentist group. My family and I have established dental care with another group in Virginia Beach.
