The dental cleaning was fine. I would like to be told when suggested treatments carry an additional charge not covered by insurance and how much it is. When I went to check out, I was advised to pay by another means other than credit care because they had implemented a credit card surcharge. This surprised me as it had not been announced to me before my visit. I did not have a check on me and asked if I could be invoiced. That was not an option. I elected to pay in cash which not readily accepted, but finally taken. It was very inconvenient when credit cards have become the standard for making payment.

I transferred to Dental Associates (Falls Church) recently having become dissatisfied with my previous provider. I wish I had moved sooner! Just had my first cleaning and the experience was excellent. Dr. Bateni is amazing. Gentle and skillful in her craft, but also very generous and attentive with her time while having a pleasant and personable manner. Same goes for her assistant, Ivy, who got through all my x-rays efficiently and with sensitivity.
I was very also pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to arrive as a new patient. Having filled in a detailed electronic form the night before my visit, I was still bracing myself to be handed a clipboard to do it all over again on paper. Instead, I was told, “We have your insurance details and all the info we need. You’re all set.” Check out was also fast and efficient too. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Cleanings are thorough and they always let you know what to expect, no surprises! Very transparent about anything that’s going to come as an extra charge. I find they are efficient and respectful of patients’ time. I was encouraged to get a night guard 6 months ago due to the appearance of wear from suspected grinding, and while it took a couple return visits to achieve a fit comfortable enough to use I think it was worth it. I definitely don’t plan to go anywhere else, it’s convenient and friendly!

This is the first time where I've felt comfortable with a dental practice. I've had a history of bad experiences with almost all of my dentists until now.
This practice made me feel comfortable and listened to my concerns. They worked with me and are helping me feel more comfortable with being at the dentist. Bonus they seem to be an all women office which is a big plus for me.
