I have been going to this dental office for over 20 years. All the staff (front desk, hygienist & doctors) are always friendly & personable. They are very helpful, informative and they are so patient. I would highly recommend!

Let me start off by saying that I love Dr. Norton and her assistant Dorothy! They are the only amazing people that I will miss going to a new dentist. Those two ladies were absolutely amazing.
However, as it pertains to the office staff there, Eva, Linda and the other one, I have never in my life, experienced rude, unknowledgeable, unprofessional, liars. Not only that, Dr. Garland gentry is possibly the worst dentist that I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve never had to sue anybody before and it sucks because while my experience with Dr. Norton and her assistant, Dorothy was wonderful, when it came to the other side of it, it was the worst experience ever!
Linda not only lied about my bill, but she wrote down false information and I have recorded her giving me false information and they still took her side even though she’s a liar! One thing that won’t lie is cameras and voice recordings. Eva keeps hanging the phone up on me because she’s a liar and she wants to yell at people. I have been waiting for my appointment because something is wrong with the implant that I can feel in my mouth and all of these excuses about his assistant being out on medical leave, has shown me just how unprofessional the reviews that I read about him I should’ve listened to. Eva was kind enough to yell about my balance that I have taken care of in full mocking me for not being able to pay it that day because insurance told me they were paying more but she did not hesitate to make my financial obligation everybody’s business in that front office. What an unprofessional human being but that’s what her kind does. She’s a miserable, unprofessional, office manager and those that she has hired are just like her with the exception of one beautiful young lady, who I’ve never had problems with.
Let me explain to you, the power of money, it can be spent anywhere and with insurance, all you have to do is find another dentist which I have done but to have to go to court over something so minor and simple is disheartening!
I hope that if Dr. Norton and Dorothy sees this review! Please open up your own practice and you have me for a lifetime. I will miss you both tremendously, but I refuse to deal with that office staff, or the other unprofessional dentist who should not have a business.

I have never posted a negative review but because of my experience with this office, I really felt the need to share so others could choose somewhere else. I had a filling done in October of last year. It was a deep filling and after this the tooth never felt right. I felt pain biting on it and sensitive to hot and cold. I went back to the dentist in December and was told that it was because it was a deep filling and I grind my teeth (even thought I wear a mouth guard nightly). I was asked to come back in a month if it still hurt. It continued to get worse and in January I went back to the dentist. Again I was told that it was because I grind my teeth but this time I was referred to an endodontist. That weekend my tooth became inflamed and I had to get an emergency root canal. I was offered no antibiotics at the dentist office and when I called for help they told me they couldn't help me. By the time I got the root canal my tooth was completely dead because it had been infected for months. I still experience numbness on that side of my mouth because of how bad the infection got. I have gone to this dentist for years but it has been mainly for routine cleanings. I would not recommend them for anything beyond that.

Normally (because I only ever get routine cleaning) they are kind and gentle. They’re great with my kids. However, when I had a filling yesterday, I didn’t notice until the numbing wore off that Dr. Patel didn’t grind it down enough. It sits so high that none of my other teeth touch when I bite down. It’s difficult to eat. No big deal, things happen. When I called today, the receptionist gave me a time that I couldn’t possibly make work. I said I could come any time before that today. She then told me it was that or wait until November, my choice. So instead of fixing an issue that the dentist messed up, you threaten me with essentially take it or leave it? Horrible patient care and customer service. Do not go to this office if you need anything other than a cleaning.

If I could give zero stars I would. Hands down the worst dentist office I have ever been to. I tried them out for about 2 years after my previous dentist retired. First, they canceled my appointment at the last minute after I had taken time out of my busy day for said visit. Second, I had an appointment to get some fillings done and they took me back 45 minutes late and did not compete the work. I was sent me out of there with a partially drilled out tooth and a plug in place because they screwed around so long that I became un-numb. Then they tell me I have to walk around with this plug in for 8 weeks because they have zero appointments between now and then. Prior to my appointment I heard another patient complaining about how they didn't finish her work either. Third, my daughter had an accident at school and damaged a tooth. Dr. Norton wasn't able to give me a definitive answer as to whether or not her baby tooth would need to be pulled in order to protect her adult teeth. I had to take her to another dentist for a second opinion. Fourth, I tried to tell this dentist that I was quite certain that I had a cavity . They acted like I was an idiot and refused to do x-rays. Several months went by and sure enough I was right. I had several cavities. Fifth, the entire staff sucks. I can't stress that enough. All they want to do is screw around and run their mouths during your visit. I left this practice and went to Forest Smiles. Excellent service there. This office got me in within a week and did x-rays. They found additional work that I needed to have done that Dr. Norton missed entirely. Three days Later I had the work done that was need by Forest Smiles. Seriously, do not waste your time with Forest Family Dentistry... place is a complete joke. When I told them I was leaving the practice for a new dentist I told them to cancel all of my appointments that were schedule for the future. They said they would. Well a few weeks go by and then they send me a reminder that I have an upcoming appointment. The receptionist said she would cancel all my future appointments which clearly did not happen. I honestly don't know how this place is in business.
