I've been with First Impressions since they opened. The staff is first class - ready. friendly, efficient, and informative. My hygienist, Kim, always takes time to tell me what we will accomplish that day and we share conversation throughout the appointment. I have always left completely satisfied. I recommend First Impressions every chance I get.
I’m extremely frustrated with the services at First Impressions Dentistry. When I called to make my new patient appointment, the front desk staff may have been friendly, but they completely failed to provide essential information. I clearly informed the receptionist that I had Delta Dental insurance before scheduling. She stated they were no longer in-network but would file with my insurance, assuring me that my cleaning and X-rays would be covered. However, their policy, which I strongly advise you to read carefully, requires panoramic X-rays for the first appointment—something my plan only covers once every three years. The receptionist knew this beforehand but chose not to inform me, pushing for it during my visit. I paid the full amount expecting reimbursement from my insurance, only to find out later that insurance covered just a third of the cost, leaving me $250 out of pocket for a simple cleaning and X-rays. When I called to address this, the receptionist feigned ignorance and pointed to the patient financial responsibility form I had signed. I feel so misled by their false assurances about insurance coverage and am furious with their deceptive practices. Considering their high costs for routine services and the lack of transparency, I will not be returning.
Katie was absolutely amazing. I have had bad experiences with other dental offices and she was so kind and so good with my anxiety. Dr. Wells was also just as kind and good to me. For someone who struggles going to the dentist I would recommend first impressions any day of the week.
I DO NOT NOT NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE!!! Dr Wells has a horrible bedside manner, her Botox 'helpful' staff is anything but...her 'accounting' department is worse. She ruined my tooth after cracking it, then told me it would be $4K, AFTER I had already paid her over $1300+. She then had her 'accounting' staff - what a joke - send me a bill a week or two after they were due and since I didn't PAY HER ON TIME she sent me to collections. Dr. Wells and staff (Brooklyn especially) are rude, condescending, and uppity. They are all in too much of a hurry to get out of the office at 3pm because they want to go to the gym, jog around downtown Kannapolis, and go get more Botox injections. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DR WELLS, HER STAFF, OR ANYONE ELSE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS PRACTICE. They will tell you all of the 'requirement's' Dr Wells 'requires' is covered under your insurance, only to find out AFTER you go to your appointment that they AREN'T COVERED. This practice is scamming ALL of her paitents. She is not experienced enough, and likes to change her patients appointments all the time so she can go OOT and to play golf with her husband who enjoys her ripping people off so they can go do whatever they want, while you sit and deal with dental PAIN for over a YEAR!!!!! DO NOT GO TO DR WELLS OR FIRST IMPRESSIONS FAMILY DENTISTRY - YOU AND YOUR TEETH WILL REGRET IT!!!!
I have SEVERE dental anxiety & this is the first office I’ve ever been to that strives to make their patients feel at ease and safe. I have had extensive work done here & not a negative thing to be said. 10/10 would recommend everyone come here for dental services! Every staff member is amazing!
