AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!!!! I can't say enough great things about this office. From the cleanliness, to the superb , knowledgeable staff and compassionate surgeons. I took a 2.5 hour trip to use this group for my son's surgery and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again! We will definitely return, should the need arise. Oh, and they performed a post op follow up call the same day to see how he was doing! Singing their praises!!! 5++++++++++ STARS

I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review, so I was on the fence about leaving this one. I’ve been going to Dr. Faircloth for several appointments over the last 4 months for TMJ issues. The staff seems mostly nice, but it really feels like you are rushed in and out of the office. Dr. Faircloth spends about 5-10 minutes with you and then walks out the door. I don’t think I ever got to ask all my questions before he left. Then they send you a pricy bill in the mail. Last time I went, I decided to tentatively schedule surgery after months of the TMJ splint not helping. After he left the room, I thought he was coming back, since it had only been ~5 minutes, but he didn’t. The nurse said she would see if he could come and answer my questions, and I waited about ~30 minutes until one of the staff came in to talk to me. I got the feeling they thought I was being difficult and just needed a shoulder to cry on. No, I just wanted to ask the surgeon like two questions about the surgery. She said he was booked until September (4 months out) and didn’t have time. I asked if I could call him on the phone, and said I would even pay for the time, she said “no, he doesn’t do that”. They seem like nice enough people, but when I can’t even ask the surgeon questions about surgery, I think it’s time for me to go elsewhere.

I went here for an evaluation and decided not to continue with my 2 part surgery here. Dr. Fairclot name dropped the first and last name of another patient that had the same surgery which I didn't like. They also called me a few weeks after my eval to tell me my 1st surgery was approved by insurance. 5 months later, they called to tell me that the same surgery was denied and they filed an appeal that was also denied. I can pay out of pocket at 50% discount (but hospital bill is going to be $$$$). When I checked with my insurance company and through my HR, I found out they only applied for the second surgery (nothing for the first one), no appeal was ever filed and now its way past the appeal date so they would have to resubmit the paperwork. I am very, very happy with my decision to go to another oral surgeon.

We were expected to wait two hours for our daughters scheduled consultation. At no time did anyone provide any updates on the wait. Poor time management and show a lack of concern for new patients.

I have bad anxiety issue, so it's very hard for me @ a doctor's appointment. David & his staff made me fill safe and relaxed. So u you have PTSD or any anxiety issues this is the best oral surgeon in south carolina!!!
