Went in for an appointment 25 March receptionist was having a personal conversation with a patient I waited 10min to check in, then another 10 for them to even address the patient’s waiting to say something but she didn’t and then told me they have a 15 min grace period to check in patients, I was 15 early so now im 25 min with no acknowledgment. Both receptionist was rud the fat one even said she does not care about my military service so that really got me. After I left Dr Smith called asked what happened I told him office manager was suppose to call me so that I could get another appointment never happened. Today I called to see if I could get my tooth fixed that chipped during vaca this week and I was informed due to my inactivity the Dr has dropped me. So military please go somewhere else cause the disrespect shown was evident from the staff and Dr. the office looks dirty and dusty whenever I go. Dr Smith can be rude as well he may act like he cares but that’s a no. Edit Received this in the mail from Duval dental now mind you I called for emergency appointment and they turned me away but this letter says I have 30 days.
I visited Dr. Smith on Feb. 22nd. They did an X-ray and was said; to write a prescription for The abscess that I had. Never received and even calling back to let them know I didn’t receive it. So I went to my primary care doctor, and he wrote out a prescription for amoxicillin. Dr. Smith also referred me to, Dr Gesek , DMD on Park St. I saw them also on 2/22/24 they also did X-ray and said; they Will get back with me once my insurance goes through, and I have, Liberty. Well, I called them about three days after to check on the insurance and she said it’s too soon. Well now it is March.13th and I called them, and she made up some lame excuse and said they would give me a call once they contact the insurance, so that tells me it was just sitting there, so I have dismissed both dental places
Today was my 12yr old son's first visit... referred for extraction... First and foremost the receptionist Roxy is AMAZING... she has Great Energy, Professional & Very Courteuos..🌻 When my son is called to go to the back we proceed to the back area. There is a woman named Jessica that is Extremely rude!!! I'm not sure if she was having a bad day or what... her rating is a 0...( VERY POOR ATTITUDE & RUDE ) Dr. Smith did an Excellent job with my son with his Very Polite Assistant that assisted during the extraction procedure. I waited a little over an hour to be taken to the back. The girl that cleaned my teeth was very nice and she did a good job. The dentist wasn't happy about the condition of my teeth and he made sure I knew that! I hadn't seen a dentist in 15 years so my teeth weren't in good condition and I let him know that before he even looked at my teeth. That was about 3or so weeks ago and I still haven't gotten a call back to make the next appointment to start fixing my teeth. The girl at the counter wasn't very nice or informative about the next appointment process. So I went because I finally have insurance and my teeth hurt and the only thing theyve done, is clean my teeth and took x-rays. I have Medicare insurance and so far haven't been able to find any other dentist that takes my insurance. I'm still in pain and nothing has been done to help me. UPDATE: I found a new dentist that took care of my teeth. All my teeth have been fixed and I'm no longer in pain. Thanks to Jacksonville North Complete Dentistry! The gave me awesome care! Now that I've had all my teeth fixed, this dentist office keeps sending me reminders that it's time to have my teeth cleaned. BUT they never even called me back to set up an appointment to fix my teeth. Dr. Daryl e. Smiths office treated me like I didn't matter. They surely didn't like me asking them any questions. I'd give them zero stars if that were an option. I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog.
Went in to have a tooth pulled and after two visits to have the same tooth pulled he still didn't get the entire tooth now we r going to another dentist to get it done. Dr Smith office said we can return there and get it done a third time or pay out of pocket to let another dentist do it. He doesn't care about the patient. Will never go back to this dentist. Update: the lady I talked to,no longer is there. The dentist is trying to make it better. An oral surgeon also left another partial tooth so I believe my teeth are brittle. Dr Smith is working with me to resolve this problem.
