Dr. Larrick is awesome! Why? I am a self-professed poor dental patient, yet his easy "bedside" manner allowed me to feel more comfortable in this setting than I have for years. Compared to my previous dentist, this experience was night and day. No "push" for expensive and questionably necessary dental procedures, no lecturing or passive "guilt" psychology. Dr. Larrick is a straight shooter who empowers his patients by giving both options and choices, and taking the time to talk them through and find his patients' own comfort zone. This dentist makes me feel less like a walking wallet with teeth and more like a person! A refreshing and pleasant change.

I have been a patient of Dr. Larrick's for more than 10 years. He is a conservative dentist who will work with his patient's to find the best results for their needs. I have had several difficult procedures, including a Maryland bridge which was completed more than 8 years ago. Last year the bridge became loose and he was able to re-cement it. There have been no problems since. I sure most other dentist would have told me that I needed a conventional bridge.
I would recommend Dr. Larrick to anyone seeking a caring conservative dentist.

Dr. Bruce Larrick is smart. I definitely benefited from his years of experience and his ability to "read" patients.
I went to Dr. Larrick to have bonding done on a front lower tooth. He noticed my bite and said that we should not do bonding as it will not hold up because of my bite. He didn't want me to have to come back and spend more time and money later down the road. He cared about my outcomes! He suggested a crown that would hold up. The original crown came in and Dr. Larrick didn't like the shade of it compared to my other teeth and thought that a porcelain might not be the right one for me. He reordered a ceramic crown in a different shade, but went ahead and cemented the incorrect one because it would hold up better than a temporary. He again cared about me - the patient. The new crown arrived and I went in late afternoon and Dr. Larrick stayed until after 6pm getting it just right. I told him it felt great and the bite was fine. Dr. Larrick personally called me back a few days later, I believe it was on the weekend and late at night - does this guy ever sleep? - and said he was concern that the bite wasn't just right. He didn't want to have any issues and asked if it wasn't 100% perfect to drop by the office and he would get me in. He was absolutely correct - he is smart and this is what his years of experience taught him. I went in - he worked me in right away during my lunch hour and it's perfect!! I really appreciate all the care and concern Dr. Larrick has shown for me over this process. As a side bonus he also has a wonderful sense of humor!
If you want a dentist who cares, understands and works with his patients then Dr. Larrick is the dentist for you.

Dr. Larrick isn't your typical dentist office. When you walk in the first time you will see that nothing is going to be the typical dentist office visit. His practice is surrounded by many unusual eccentric items that reflect Dr Larrick's personality, but don't confuse his eccentricities of lacking skill. Dr Larrick is extremely talented. So if you're in need of a dentist, but don't want the usual benumbed experience for emotionally stiff and obtuse people, check in with Smiles on 13 Street. Otherwise, just go to someplace with gray walls and impersonal care.

Dr Larrick is truly awesome, I met him about 30 years ago and he rebuilt my girlfriends smile resulting in a massive increase in her self image, confidence and good looks! I'll never forget how he helped us through that and the results he got. I am forever greatful to Dr. Larrick! Thank you Dr. Smile!
