Best Dentists' I have ever had. I feel like most dentist are kind of unpleasant, but everyone that works here are so friendly and lovely. Recently, my crown feel off (which was really old and another dentist had done)...The office had just closed but I called and left a message and the doctor called back with in a few minutes. They told me to come on over and put my crown back on. I was so grateful that they re-opened to take care of me. They are always great but acts of kindness like this make me never want to leave them.

Best dental experience! From the second I walked in, felt so welcomed by the entire staff, and almost felt like I was at a spa! The environment is extremely inviting and friendly! :). Dr. Ngo sat next to me and explained the X-RAY, it was really educational and I felt very comfortable being so informed. From Tiffany working with me to book the appointment, to Nancy, the dental hygienist, and Dr. Ngo, it truly was a productive, smooth, and delightful appointment!

I saw Dr. Ngo at the Dentist on Washington office on January 26th 2024. It was my first visit. My previous dentist was in a different city and for various reasons it was my first cleaning in a little over a year—I was bracing for bad news. Dr. Ngo diagnosed me with seven cavities after oral inspection (my x-rays did not show any cavities, I was told they were all interproximal and wouldn’t be visible). I’ve had one cavity in the past ten years and thought seven seemed like a lot, worse news than I expected despite a lapse in professional care. I emailed the office and requested copies of my x-rays and all medical records. My x-rays were provided promptly but on a new email thread with no mention of my records. I emailed back and requested them again didn’t hear anything. I waited a week and followed up, this time noting that I was requesting them “per state guidelines”. Within 15 minutes I received a call from the office asking if “there was an issue and I didn’t receive my x-rays”. I once again noted that I was not just requesting my x-rays but wanted copies of my medical history. They were sent a couple hours later. I read the records—my x-rays, a tooth chart with marks noting where issues were, treatment outlined for seven different teeth and its substantial cost (to me and my insurer), and a note from my appointment that said “Reviewed med hx w pt. Xrays taken. Exam performed, Tx plan and alternative tx options presented. Prophy and polished. Reviewed ohi. Fl given. NV—comp/recall. DN”. I emailed back and asked why the diagnosis of seven cavities isn’t noted explicitly in my records. At 7:30pm that evening I missed a call and had a voicemail from Dr. Ngo saying that she heard I had questions about my treatment plan and to call her back at that number, her personal cell phone, anytime. It is profoundly strange to get a call from a doctor’s personal cell phone for a non emergency late in the evening. I emailed back, noted that at this point I wanted to keep everything in writing, and asked once again why the diagnosis of seven cavities was not noted anywhere in my medical history. Dr. Ngo emailed back at 9:30pm said the chart notes where the “decay/caries/cavities” are and that “I'm sorry that you are not satisfied with our system of documentation.” I saw a different dentist this morning for a second opinion. This dentist went over the x-rays and did a comprehensive exam. They said it was evident I took care of my teeth and in their professional opinion I had no cavities, just staining. They graciously noted that if I saw five different dentists each one could say something different but if they thought I had any cavities at all they would, of course, tell me and stressed that they weren’t just telling me what they thought I wanted to hear. TLDR: Dentists on Washington diagnosed me with seven cavities. A second opinion said I had none.
