This practice cares more about profit than their patients. My children have been going to this practice for years and we are at a point we cannot change orthodontists. The staff will speak poorly about patients in front of other patients. They have drawn out my daughter's care and missed the gap in her teeth until they were about to remove her braces. They have too many patients for the single orthodontist and do not adjust patient flow accordingly. Nonetheless, if you are 10 min late you must reschedule--- despite the fact you will, on average wait in the waiting room at least 30 min past your time for a simple retainer check. I do not recommend this practice at all.

We have been bringing our daughter here for two years for a 18 month treatment plan. We have shown up to appointments where they had no idea what was going on and literally sent her home with no way to wear her liners bc they removed her attachments. They also have had us show up twice when there were no liners and they had to make us leave and reschedule. We live an hour away, so it’s kind of a big deal. And when they’re wrong they try to tell you it’s your fault as if you should be managing your child’s treatment plan. Well, the final blow came last week when they once again had us show up with no liners. After I complained and defended myself (because they claimed my child was at fault for not communicating with me yet I was sitting right next to her and the dentist the ENTIRE last appointment so she didn’t have to tell me what he said!), they offered me gift cards. I told them it wasn’t about the money. They gave it anyway, and we had to return later the same day and I had to reschedule my meeting for work. After getting the gift cards and feeling a little better and at least heard, I stopped to get gas. I went to use one of the cards and it had never been activated. Hesitantly I just brought the card back to them this morning bc my daughter’s attachment fell off and we had to come back for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. The office manager printed off where it supposedly had been spent and he showed me a paper. So now they are calling me a liar??? Shouldn’t they be able to see in their records what they’ve done? Anyway, just another example of bad business and inability to manage and keep records. Don’t go here. Go anywhere else.

I am currently under the care of Dr. Martin for Invisalign. He has taken such good care of me and addressed all of my concerns!!! I visit the Alcoa office and the ladies in the front always go above and beyond to accommodate my needs. The “techs” are AMAZING! They always make me feel so comfortable and welcome. No question is every a bother and they do everything they can to resolve any issues I have. This has been a journey but I am getting close to the end and I wouldn’t want any other team behind me! Thanks Dr. Martin and Staff!!!

Always has the music on too loud in the waiting room. Music should be background ambience in a waiting room, not an in your face assault of noise. I literally could not hear the quiet spoken lady at the front desk over the music when we started talking. I have tinnitus and if there is a lot of noise it is sometimes difficult to hear what people say.
When we visited the last time they said that my son was almost done with his invisalign trays and the next visit he should be done. This was the next visit and they told us he should have got new trays the last time we were there. If he was supposed to get them the last time then why didn't they say so and give them to us the last time?

Was told braces would be off after 2-2.5 years. Thousands of dollars and almost 4 years later and my teeth look exactly the same. They take on WAY too many clients to the point they can’t see you as often as they should and only at the most inconvenient times. They’re now saying I have $300+ in no-show fees and won’t treat me until I pay. I have already paid my braces in full and shouldn’t be charged for appointments they made for me at the worst times. Half of them I didn’t know about and the other half I cancelled hours in advance but that wasn’t enough I suppose. My treatment has also been halted as the doctor keeps requesting I have teeth pulled even though when I signed original contract and made treatment plan NOTHING was said about needing so many expensive extractions. I just want my teeth fixed as best as they can. I just want my money’s worth. My advice: find an orthodontist with less patients and more time for you.
