My son has been with Dr Martin for 3 years and his smile is beautiful. Devin’s care has been fantastic and visits have always been pleasant.

My daughter is the fifth person in our family to receive orthodontic care by Dr. Martin and his staff! I loved my experience as a patient and so does my daughter. We opted for the ceramic (clear) braces and couldn't be happier. I noticed that her bands were turning a little yellow, so I called made an appointment for new ones. They were able to fit my daughter in the next working day with no wait! We signed in and waited about 1-2 minutes and I was back to work before my lunch break was over.
Also, they work with different incomes and payment options. Talk with Jim in the office and they will work with you.

I am not one to ever leave a bad review , but my son has been in treatment with Dr. Dana Martin for 4 years and has seen very little progress. (Note: he is NOT at all a difficult case, no missing teeth, no crowding, just moderate spacing with Class 2 bite correction). We almost always wait an hour for our scheduled appointments and are only seen by the doctor for an extremely short amount of time. The assistants are never able to answer our questions about treatment that should be known. I have taken my son for consultations at other offices and they have all confirmed that my son is not being taken care of properly by Dr. Martin. My son will most likely be getting his braces removed and taken elsewhere due to my own frustration. I have already paid off his braces and do not want to pay again somewhere else for continuation of treatment but I’m left with very little options. I also do not want to enter an unnecessary legal battle, so I had to turn to google reviews. DO NOT take yourself or your child to this orthodontic office unless you want to be charged extremely high for horrible patient care.

We have been coming to Dr. Martin's Kingston Pike office every few months over the last 2 years. On a positive note, my child's teeth are much better than when we started. To be really honest: As the parent, I have only ever met the doctor once, during the initial visit. At our regular visits, my child goes back for treatment and comes back out and a staff member never comes out to speak with me. If I ask questions, the staff member who worked on my child has to be tracked down. I have never been to an appointment, any time of day, that the office isn't running at least 30-40 minutes past scheduled appointment time. On average we wait at least an hour past our scheduled time before being called back. Additionally, the front desk doesn't bother informing you of this when you arrive. You only find out when you or another waiting patient gets tired of waiting and asks the front desk.
While I'm pleased with my child's dental progress, if I hadn't paid up front for the ongoing services I would have changed orthodontist 1.5 years ago. Taking time off work to come to these visits is extremely frustrating as there is no way to plan for the length of the visit. I'm now trapped in this perpetual loop of my time being valued as significantly less valuable than this office's.

This place is absolutely terrible. The nurses are always so aggressive when working on my teeth. Both nurse and doctor got attitude with me when I wasn’t able to open my mouth wide enough. The music in there is always so loud so I couldn’t hear what the nurse was saying and she was clearly getting annoyed by it. There seriously needs to be more than one doctor checking patients because it’s taken him 20-30 minutes to look at my teeth for 2 minutes. The place is terrible, the staff is unprofessional and unaware of how aggressive they are. This is my last day at their office, hoping to find a better dentist that actually care about the patients and are somewhat friendly.
