I've been going to community dental for about 5 years+: and the quality of dental work is decent. Although every time I go I get a different dentist which is annoying. The worst part about community dental is they don't answer the phone. And then all of their mailboxes are full consistently. Every single time. I've called dozens and dozens of times and I still get the same recording. I was finally able to make an appointment yet. They sent me a text message with two different dates and two different times so calling back to confirm. They don't answer the phone. Find it another dentist.
Furthermore, several of the dentists are new and don't even last a few months.

I done had a final route canal come out my mouth 3 TIMES! Took time from work to come get it put back in and the wait is RIDICULOUS! In the end I still leave with the crown in hand and having to reschedule to the next day! Tomorrow will be day 3. They need more dentist in the office your insurance is paying for services you can’t receive unless you have an extra hour or two to sit and wait for someone to assist you! Staff is very nice and professional but it does not outweigh the wait time.

One star for the expedience with scheduling. I told the nurse that I was nervous about my procedure and she said, "you should be!" The male surgeon I saw was extremely rude. I was supposed to have my wisdom teeth removed. He asked if I was getting all 4 out, to which I replied, "that's what my dentist said I should do." He pressured me to make a decision on whether or not I wanted all 4 out. Before seeing him, I spoke with a dentist at his practice who advised that I have all 4 teeth removed. This was very confusing, as it seemed he didn't agree. He asked me about my allergies. When I told him what they were, he discounted what I said. I let him know about my chronic illness, to which he said nothing. I also informed him of my discomfort with needles. From there, he said that I shouldn't receive the procedure if I was uncomfortable with that, as they don't put people under anesthesia here. He asked if I wanted to proceed, but at that point, I was extremely uncomfortable and said I wasn't sure. He responded, "You can't just say 'I don't know,' you have to make a decision!" several times while I was beginning to visibly shake and hyperventilate. He then retrieved my mother from the waiting area and was short with her. Extremely unprofessional and traumatizing. In addition, they referred me to an oral surgeon who could put me under anesthesia, but didn't bother to give me the x-rays that are required. Lastly, my insurance company hadn't yet authorized the surgery. If I had gone through with the procedure, we would have had to pay out-of-pocket, which could've been several thousand dollars!

Some of these people working at the front desk are the worst. I don't know how they got the job in customer service, they hung up the phone many times, put me on hold for like 10 minutes, and never got back on the phone. Really bad customer service. some of them are nice in person but whoever is picking up the phone should never be allowed to work there

My first appt w Dr Shakira today went so well. But, my appt was at 9:30am, I saw her at 10:30am after repeatedly asking what the hold up was. I called the office on Tues w a question and never got a call back. When I mentioned it this morning, there was no apology, no explanation. I left a msg for them a few hrs ago - follow up question - no call back. Despite how wonderful Dr Shakira was, I won't be returning.
