I had the most positive experience ever!! I was amazed!! Everyone made me feel extremely relaxed and comfortable!! They were very well informed, knowledgeable and patient!! Everything was explained in full detail and the doctor took his time to explain each and every detail of the procedure and the process!! The first time ever having such a positive experience at a dental office and I am in my 6o’s!! I highly recommend this dental office if you are looking for a professional dentist who is knowledgeable, positive, friendly , patient and willing to make you feel comfortable!! His assistant is also knowledgeable, friendly, patient and available to listen and answer any concerns and questions you may have!! I recommend you at least get a consultation and get the great experience that I had!! You definitely won’t regret it!! It’s what I had been seeking for years!! I finally found a great dentist who I will be working with forever!!
I only wish, that I had met him years ago!!

I love Columbia Family Dentist!! I remember the first time I got my braces put on, it was the day of my concert and I was still able to perform comfortably because of the care that my Orthodontist gave me. Their attention to detail and kindness brings so much cheer to my visits, and helps me find delight in having braces. Recently, I left my last visit with pink braces, and I hope to match my braces with a pink Stanley for Back-To-Shool☺️.

Excellent practice! The staff is knowledgeable, very pleasant, helpful in answering questions by phone or in person. I have been a patient for many years. The dentists are highly capable and respectful, also taking the time to explain every detail of your treatment or proposed treatment plans.

For context I have been going to this practice ever since I was a kid. My fondest memories have always been the doctors, hygienists, and even the front staff, based on their kindness and dedication to patients. However this recent experience, and as I’ve heard from many as well, did not reflect that. The doctor and hygienist had explained to me that I needed an additional appointment before they can treat me, for reasons why they had shown me pictures and explained properly. I did not mind their service whatsoever. They were kind and respectful. However the front desk receptionist was absolutely rude. After asking a simple question on if I really needed to go through the service that they had recommended me, she had rudely claimed that I cannot return nor receive any form of service from them unless I actually go through with it, which completely caught me off guard, it had felt she was twisting my arm to do so, saying it must be done as soon a possible. She had gave me attitude and said it with complete urgency despite the fact the doctor and the hygienist did not stress the urgency of it, but appropriately addressed the seriousness. Nevertheless I agreed and she asked if I can come in tomorrow, I said no since I was busy. I gave her dates that work and she had said it’s booked up. I had gave her days that I’m usually free and when I can schedule, and again she had given me attitude, saying that for this type of appointment they cannot do Mondays Wednesdays and immediately dismissed me saying to call when I’m ready (despite the fact she stressed over the urgency and how I potentially will not be a patient anymore if I do not take part in this service).
Right when I had gotten home I had called and worked it out with my family, but she had claimed that I had “refused to look at the pictures of my teeth” (which doesn’t make sense because that’s the entire reason why I am there in the first place) which I didn’t refuse and was combative with me and pretended that I didn’t know what I was saying when I requested a supervisor. She then claimed that she was; which I had trouble believing and went on to argue with me again claiming that I didn’t give her days that work, which I did. Despite the fact that she had told me it was extremely urgent, she scheduled me for that same appointment more than a month out, completely disregarding what she had told me before. When I had tried to settle things, saying that the interaction was tense because I had first asked if I can skip out on the service, she was so combative and disrespectful that she couldn’t even agree to disagree.
I find it hard to believe this woman was a supervisor nor do I believe she was credentialed enough to act the way she did, and if she was she certainly did not do it in an appropriate manner. Thankfully when we had called we were notified that the phone call will be recorded and reviewed for quality assurance, so I hope the right person sees this and reviews the situation to handle her angry service and her attitude. I do still want to come here, I believe the doctors and the hygienist still do a great job, I don’t believe the front desk staff are qualified to sit in a spot where countless of times in the past they have been kinder and more understanding, helping and guiding the patient though the processes. She was not helpful. According to texts I believe her name was Tara, but I could be mistaken. If the doctor wants to stay in business and retain the client that have been a part of this practice for the patient’s entire life, they have to get rid of her.
