As someone who works in dentistry, I have encountered many wonderful dentists in Lincoln. Unfortunately, I can say Dr. Day at Coddington Dental is not one of them. I was a new patient at the beginning of the year and was presented with a large treatment plan after years of not having decay. I requested my xrays to determine which treatment I thought would be necessary. After recently deciding that I would be moving forward with some of the treatment, I emailed and received no response. A week later I received a letter in the mail stating that I should find a new dentist and they “regret they couldn’t establish a comfortable relationship” with me. Since I can’t get a response from the office, I can only assume Dr. Day was unhappy that I did not agree 100% with the treatment plan she came up with. Any reputable dentist should be transparent about treatment plans, encourage second opinions if you are hesitant, and allow patients to determine what treatment they are comfortable with.

This is by far the best dentist in town. Absolutely great staff. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. I have never felt rushed and truly feel they care about doing a good job. I’ve had everything from crowns to cleanings here and am always pleased.

Dr. Ben is absolutely amazing! I had really bad experiences with other dentists and thanks to him I’m finally getting more comfortable going in for my checkups. I have a very sensitive bite and he always takes the time to continue making adjustments for me until it all feels great, which I know takes a lot of patience because of how sensitive my bite is!

Everyone I've encountered here is so kind and upbeat. I truly don't dread going to the dentist anymore because of people like this. And Dr. Ben has been a true blessing to me. So gentle and caring. He not only alleviated severe pain, but gave me a wonderful smile again. I highly recommend Coddington Dental.

Let me preface this with I've never written a review my entire life. I've been a patient at Coddington for a long time. The dentists have always been kind, however recently the lack of staffing has sent me over the edge. This is the second time my appointment has been canceled after booking out 6 months and arranging my day off for said appointment. I work in Healthcare and understand crap happens but the fact that I'm called the day before and staff doesn't seem to even pretend to be empathetic really sits wrong. One of my crowns lasted less than 2 years. They understood my grievance with that time and gave me a discount to replace it years ago. I came back because I felt heard. Dr. Ben did one of my last cleanings because they were so short on hygienists. I wish I could remember the lady who answered the phone and spoke with me today, but she did not seem to care that this has happened multiple times. For these reasons I think at the present time you would do better shopping around for a dentist office that is fully staffed.
