Me and my whole family absolutely love Beacon! I honestly really wish I found them sooner. When we first moved to Jacksonville I had picked another dentist that was closer to me, and they ended up sending me to some fancy specialist for a root canal. I really wish I would’ve went here for a second opinion first because now, one busted crown, several horrible experiences and a couple thousand dollars later, I really don’t think I needed one. Dr. Tapnio is very knowledgeable and coming here I always feel confident that I will get the best care possible. The whole place has a very relaxed atmosphere too. Definitely the least ‘scary’ dentist experience you could find. Everyone is really nice too. I feel like a lot of other dentists offices are motivated by how much they can bill your insurance for rather than getting you what you need at a price that’s fair, not beacon, they are so care motivated and I couldn’t believe how much lower my copay was when I wasn’t being charged for things I didn’t need or want. My boyfriend also went here for an emergency root canal once, the doctor was able to do it either the same day or the next day, and he said it was the quickest and least painful root canal of his life and he hasn’t had a single problem with it since.
My experience was awesome. The Hygienist, Ms Becky, was very professional, answered my questions thoroughly, very knowledgeable in sharing dental topics, daily common practices and steps how to maintain a good dental hygiene for teeth preservation and gums protection. She’s enthusiastic, approachable and polite. At Beacon Family Dentistry, I’m confident that all of my dental issues will be taken care of professionally, with an affordable cost and the ease of care. I've been seeing Dr. Tapnio for many years and trust him completely. He and his staff are courteous and professional. He stays current on the latest techniques to provide good options. He also has a great sense of humor making even a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience!
Staff are so friendly, attentive,making appoinment their welling to work on your schedules, as well as payment. Dr. Tapnio is painless and honest. The hygienest Becky is awesome.
