We highly recommend Dr Gwen for orthodontics. She explained her care plan for our daughter clearly and her office is friendly and efficiently run. Her rates are, unlike some orthodontists we met with, reasonable. She even helped us work through a tricky issue with our insurance and went beyond the call of duty to make it work. I brought my grandson for a consult with Dr. Cugine for a second opinion. I was not happy with the first orthodontist we consulted with and wanted another opinion. I researched Dr Cugine and scheduled a consult. Her office is professional looking and all of her staff were friendly. We were seen promptly with no wait time. Dr. Cugine was personable and very professional. She discussed my grandson's dental issue and thoroughly explained his options to correct the problem. She answered all my questions thoughtfully. She was very friendly which was important as my grandson was a little nervous during the consult and she put him at ease. Needless to say we will be working with Dr. Cugine and her team moving forward. She was great!

I had a very pleasant experience here with Dr. Gwen Cugine. I booked my appointment through Zocdoc effortlessly and prior to arriving they confirmed with me.
The practice at Medford was easy to find and bonus has parking in the back of the building. I barely waited a minute before was led into the exam room. All the process was very professional and quick and I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Cugine. She explained my treatment plan very thoroughly and patiently. Definitely one of the better experience I had at a clinic.
I would definitely recommend her for your orthodontic needs.

Dr. Cugine and her staff are so efficient and effective in their scheduling, office visits, and treatment in general. Dr. Cugine is super smart, dedicated, and kind to her patients. She'll answer any questions you have, in person or over the phone. She is forthcoming and honest, and the treatment path I'm on was clear from the start because she took the time to explain everything.
Once you've come in for a consultation with Dr. Cugine and agreed on a treatment plan, you'll normally see Dr. Cugine's assistants, all of whom are terrific, unless you run into an issue where Dr. Cugine's attention is required. However, you can always ask to see her and she'll make time to speak with you. The front staff are friendly and effective in their jobs. I've always been well-cared for and their follow-up is fantastic.
The office space is a modified house, so the physical space is a little unexpected for a medical office. You're able to see and hear other patients and their treatment plans while you're in the chair, and they can hear yours, as well. There is one private office space, but that's typically only used for consultations. If you're cool with the space, then you'll have a wonderful experience.
