the old management was the worst from the doctor and staff being rough with your mouth and the two receptionist unable to return your calls and schedule your appointments. They were rude and one of the receptionist acted like she ran the place and personally promised us that they would work with me to get appointments in at a good time and get my braces off soon.
not too long ago the new management has come in and completely changed my opinion and i was getting ready to leave thank god. they know what their doing and aren't afraid to ask you if you want an appointment card or possibly call you in advance. The service is fast and reliable and one you can count on but the old management left behind a huge crumbled mess for them to clean up so please consider that its hard for them to schedule you for a good appointment even though you have had your braces on for more than you were supposed to. I have almost had mine for 3 years and during my appointment the other day i happily found out i should be getting them off in about 6 months.

My Son got braces here and now he has a beautiful smile! The staff is so friendly and the office is very clean. The Dr was so good about keeping me in the loop on my sons treatment plan. The two assistants, Marquise and Kallesa are awesome! They are so gentle, friendly and professional. The ladies upfront are very welcoming and polite. They recently added a play section in the waiting room which is wonderful since I have a younger child. It keeps them occupied while we wait. Love this place and would recommend it if you are considering braces for yourself or family members. They also have a wonderful hygienist named Rebecca to keep the teeth clean!

This was the most unprofessional establishment I have ever encountered. I was very excited to get an appointment for a consult quickly but once I found the place and had my consult I understand why there were openings at this establishment. I was interested in having a retainer made since I lost my prior one and was also interested in discussing a permanent bonding retainer. The orthodontist walked in stating how much he missed his assistant Sherry while looking for things in the room. The dental hygienist/front desk assistant explained to the orthodontist twice what I was requesting. He asked me twice what is it I wanted done? Then when he laid me back to examine my teeth he was very rough holding my face and with me teeth. I asked to be let up and left. I have never had any kind of experience like that in my life.

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. I’ve had a terrible experience with this orthodontist office since I first started my orthodontic work. Everytime you would go into the office there would always be different people at the front desk and different people working on your teeth. Seem to have a very high turn over. Which is not a good sign to me. If I have someone working in my mouth I want to be able to trust them, and having different people in there everytime you go does not make you feel you can trust them! I’ve had my braces on for 5 years now and everytime I went the doctor would ask “you want your braces off” like I was going to have them removed, then he would tell me I wasn’t close to getting them off. I find that very disturbing because it’s like he was getting my hopes up for nothing. Then a week before my appointment I got a phone call about them “switching ownership” and saying they were going to open back up in September. That never happened and I had to go out on my own to try and find an orthodontist that would take transfer patients. (Which is not easy considering almost every single office in Roanoke does NOT take transfer patients). They kept telling patients “they planned on opening back up, but wasn’t sure when”. How do you tell patients that when they have no where to go? Did they expect patients to just keep there braces on forever? What if there was something poking or broken I had no one to fix it! I’m glad I didn’t waste my time waiting around because I just received a letter in the mail stating they were permanently closing! Thanks a lot! VERY BAD EXPERICENE!

If I could give 0 stars I would, they kept me in braces on for 10 years and my teeth are not straight ! They refused to take responsibility, but if you're looking for cheap then you have came to the right place. This place isn't professional and I will never recommend Simply Straight Orthodontics to anyone ! THIS IS THE WORST DENTIST I HAVE EVER BEEN TO ! If you go here, you're wasting your money and especially your time ! When I asked him how long do I have to keep wearing my braces if I want straight teeth, he answered 10 more years...…… NEVER EVER GOING BK TO THIS DENTIST AGAIN ! NO ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD GO HERE !
