I suffer from severe anxiety when I go to the dentist. The staff at Family First Dental in Hunters Creek helped me through every step of the process of my wisdom tooth extraction. Paula in the office set the tone with her friendly and knowledgeable demeanor. She’s a sweetheart. Dr. Zavala explained each step of the process to me and was very patient. His assistant, Walki, was extremely sweet to me. She calmly encouraged me and comforted me and figuratively held my hand throughout the entire appointment. I feel extremely fortunate to have found their office. I’m so thankful for them.

What a terrible experience!!! Dr Mosquera was not in and Dr Zavala was the one who was available... he didn't even take the time to explain my options because he was busy with another patient! He stand at the door and never took the time to talk to me!
Don't go to this office unless you want to have a very bad experience!
Definitely I will never go back there!
Shame on you!

I was a new patient that had an appointment at 1 PM. The girl at the front desk didn't even say hello. She was on her phone with her head down. Once she acknowledged me, she called another woman to check me in. After checking in, I waited approximately 20 minutes and no one had called me inside yet. I asked the girl in the front how much longer it would be and she responded "how long will your appointment be? (with a confused face). I said no, how long till they call me inside. She said that the staff is in a meeting and will be finished soon. I said if I knew they would be in a meeting, I would have rescheduled. She said (with an attitude) "that they've been in a meeting since lunch and I'm still completing your paperwork (which I had already submitted online beforehand).The other lady had even asked if I completed prior to arriving. She didn't even apologize for the inconvenience or the fact that they were running behind.
There was another gentlemen who came after me who was taking inside within a few minutes. TERRIBLE staff and service. I will NEVER come back or recommend this place to anyone.

Very poor customer service for a second time, I gave a chance because of the Doctor and his assistant were really nice people but between the Manager and the front Billing person I had the worst experience their attitude when I mention about a charge that the insurance didn’t pay that I would have to call the insurance company to find out why they didn’t pay, almost insult me, that they knew what they were doing and I was not. I had spend thousands of dollars in procedures there but I am not returning there. I have been very respectful, patient just returned because of the doctor assistant, writing that I have been disrespectful on the response is very unprofessional from you because even when I had the reason to be disrespectful I held my composure and just told you guys to just cancel all my appointments, So Disappointed.
