Atlantic took me in as a new patient with an emergency within a few hours. A crown came off oozing decay with associated pain. A few weeks earlier I complained to the dental office I was using, Aspen Dental. They could not make an appointment for weeks. Today, waiting for that appointment, it became an emergency. I went to Aspen as a walk in. I waited for hours with no knowledge of whether they could see me or not. I gave up and contacted my husband’s dental group, Atlantic which took me in within an hour (an hour !). By the end of the day, the emergency was over. I am relatively new to Jacksonville, and it’s been difficult to find a good facility. I first went to Smiles on Beach. Bad. Next, Aspen Dental. They wanted $500.00 for my cleaning. They wanted $1500.00 for my husband’s cleaning. He’s still fighting it. Yet they cannot see their patients during an emergency. But you can get cleaned. Cleaned out. Atlantic saved me today. In addition, they had a bright, extremely clean office with a comfortable lounge.
Dr Greenberg and Dr Murphy are exceptional dentist! Highly recommended becoming a patient at this office, Bushra cleaned my teeth and just wow!!!
Zero stars... after reading these reviews this office seems to be getting extremely wealthy telling people they need a "special" "deep" cleaning. I've seen a dentist every 6 months since I was 4, never had a cavity or any issues for that matter. They told me all the same things I'm reading in the reviews. Now fast forward to billing issues b/c of these lies, the absolute worst customer/billing service I've ever witnessed. I am only asking for explanation of charges (literally your job) and am being met by rudeness and she used words like b/c your "X" was so bad... or you were here for an hour, we've sent you that before, we don't treat you based on what your insurance covers but by what you need etc. First time in 40+ years any dentist has ever told me I need anything but a routine cleaning since age 4... it's amazing how so many of these reviews are the same story line and so many of the responses from Atlantic Dentistry are so generically the same w/ a tiny bit extra to try and make themselves sound genuine. Patient beware, do your research, this is a facility looking to scam you, billing employees that should be fired for the way they treat people and clearly because so many of us are reporting the same bad experience a mangement/ownership that allows it to continue. Tons of Dental practices in Jacksonville, Florida I'll be searching for a better practice for my family.
I absolutely loved my experience. It was so easy to schedule my first appointment with Atlantic Dental! I could call or text to schedule - which is great for someone who doesn’t always have the time to call. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful when I showed up for my appointment. They were ready for me early and were very efficient. The space was clean and well organized. The hygienist was very informative and took the time to explain things, as well as make sure I was comfortable. All around best dental experience I’ve had.
I have been coming to Atlantic Dentistry since 2019 and it is always a pleasant experience. The staff are very friendly and inviting and the dentists and the assistants' are accomodating and gentle. One of the best things about them is that they are able to work with my autistic son - I am able to sit in the room with him, but they do their best to communicate with HIM and make sure that he isn't overwhelmed or having sensory issues. If you treat your teeth right, the dentist can really be a nice experience - it's like a spa treament for your mouth!
