I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THESE POSITIVE COMMENTS AND 5 SARTS…. I called my usual office in Newberry to get my teeth pulled out they told me they couldn't do it and had to schedule me with this office. First, they canceled my appointment via email because they had my old number and I didn't know until I called them a day before my appointment, I rescheduled for today. I'm always late for appointments, but my tooth has been bothering me so much I didn't wanna missed the service. I got there at 2:57 pm my appointment was at 3 pm. Once I got there they couldn't find my name so I had to do everything as a new patient I said fine. Then I waited till 4:09 for them to call my name the lady said we’ll have to do an X-ray since we don't have your records and you've never been seen by the doctor he won't be able to pull out your teeth today and you'll have to pay $90 something I was bumped for a minute, and I started to protest how come y'all don't have my record and you guys are the same company? The lady walked away and 30 minutes later she never came back when I went to check on her she told me it was too late now for my X-ray but I could reschedule. No apologies like it was my fault I didn't get service because I didn't pull out my card the minutes she asked me to pay, for a service I have already done and wasn't there for. Mind you now I've been waiting for 1:34 minutes. Just to come home with the same discomfort that I took two days off work to get done. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE….

Took months to get an appointment. A few days before they called and canceled, so made another appointment that was also months out. Never have I had to wait this long to get a routing 6 month checkup/cleaning at my dentist office where I lived before. Went to the appointment and was told would not have cleaning today, only an exam by dental hygienist and then "see" the dentist via the tv screen mounted on the wall. Then I could make another appointment to come back for the actual routine cleaning.Maybe my shock would not have been so bad if they had communicated that I would have to pay for two appointments and would not be actually seeing a dentist in person but there was NO communication about this prior to my first appointment. I told the poor hygienist that this was outrageous, poor thing, she was sweet and helpless. The front staff was indifferent and rude when I made a complaint. Needless to say, I left there very upset and went to a different place to have an exam and cleaning, all in one day at that! Next time I will read ALL of the newest reviews when looking for new places!

When I went to Coastal Dental I was very nervous about dentist ,but the staff was very calming , the Hygienist Madison Moore was very nice and professional was very gentle while cleaning my lower teeth , she never rushed and my teeth looked great after she was finished.Dr Brodsky was a very nice man with a calming manor, he took his time with me and spoke clearly so I could understand all my options, I felt very confident that he will do a good job when I come back for teeth extractions. The ladies that took care of the financial side helped me find a way to be able to afford by helping me with an monthly payments. Thank you Coastal Dental for a good experience, God bless you all.

I was referred to this location by the hygienist at the across town location because I needed a crown. The 76th blvd. location has been without an onsite dentist for quite a while. I got an appointment pretty quick and Dr. Brodsky evaluated my tooth and scheduled me for another appointment approximately a month out. No problem. When I arrived for my appointment they had no record of it ,although I showed them my appointment card. I was told to come back in 11/2 hours, which I did. They again told me I could not be seen and made an appointment for 10:30 the next day. I felt frustrated but agreed to the appointment. When I arrived for this appointment I waited for an hour and told them I was leaving since I had been waiting so long. I was in my vehicle fixing to leave when they called be back in and finally took me back to be seen by the dentist. I signed some consent forms and prepaid for my procedure. The room I was told to sit in had water standing on the floor and there was a big black ring of dirt where the chair base had been moved. The whole room needed cleaning and I felt uneasy seeing all the dirt on the floor. After waiting in that room, I was ushered into another procedure room for another hour wait. I also noticed that the instrument tray had the little drill bits that are in a metal holder. The holder had what looked like dried white toothpaste powder on it, which also made me feel uneasy. It is now 12:45 on a 10:30 appointment and with the uncleanliness and two day involvement, I decided to get out of there. I went to the clerk, voided my payment and I will never step foot in this office again. I never in two days ever contacted the dentist. Super bad experience. Waste of time. CS
