Dr. Hughes is kind, courteous and professional. This is my first time to the dentist in years and I’m very afraid of dentist visits. Him and his team made it a very pleasant visit. The prices were very very reasonable and there way no pressure felt to get extra services. Dr. Hughes also informed me of some dental issues I’m facing and helped me make a plan to deal with them. I cannot recommend Dr. Hughes and his staff enough, best dentist in Gainesville, FL.

In the past I've had great service in this office however, I spoke with a representative last week with questions about my new insurance plan and per our conversation she said she would call me this week with an answer. I called back today to follow up and the representative placed me on hold and the dentist came on the line and insinuated that my questions/calling was causing an inconvenience to the office. I was so confused with his demeanor. After a short period of thinking about this experience I won't be going back to this office. Everyone should be treated with respect AT ALL TIMES!

I was very pleased with Family & Cosmetic Dentistry. They were able to fit me in their schedule without me having to wait months. The dentist and hygienist have been there 20+ years. Consistency is very important to me as my last dentist had a high turn over rate. I like the time they spent with me, and it was obvious they are very knowledgable. . I’m happy that I found a great Dentist as I’m new to this area. Cha-Ching

The "Good the bad and the ugly", the Good I finally thought I found a good dentist, the bad I was wrong , he used the cheapest material when replacing a crown and filling cavities, which made them fall out and brake within a weeks, and in one instance as soon as I bit down, don't worry just like a bad car repair shop you will be back for a repair, and a over priced charge. To many young inexperienced girls at the front desk , will make sure your will get billed without your insurance so maximum insult will be your checkout with a smile. This was my experience make sure you come prepared for the game. What a waste of time and money.
