Everyone that I came in contact with during my visit was friendly and professional. Dr. Andrew is kind and has a wonderful, knowledgeable staff in his office. Definitely recommend!

Last year, I made an appointment to have a tooth removed because of severe pain. I did not have insurance, so I was coming out of pocket, to which the dentist office said they would work with me. They did the x-rays and verified that the tooth needs to come out, but they also realized other teeth should be pulled including wisdom teeth. Since they wanted more teeth removed, they gave me a referral for an oral surgeon for A MONTH LATER. They chose not to extract the one tooth I made an appointment for. Over that next month, lots of pain and bleeding from the tooth, and I couldn't afford the surgeon, so eventually that tooth shattered and rotted away. These dentists get lost in their upsells, and forget what it's like to be real people with real pain.
Update: I see no reason to contact or discuss this further with the dentist office. I tried discussing this during my appointment, and it wasn't important to them at that time. They cannot take away the pain that I felt as a result of these shortcomings, and the only thing they can hope to achieve is convince me they aren't the bad guy so that I will come spend more money with them again. Next time, listen to your patients better during the time that they pay you for, instead of waiting till they complain to try to make it right.

I came from to Family Dentistry of Short Pump after a bad predatory experience from a different dentist. I liked that their hygienists and doctors were open about what they were doing and why. But i was extremely disappointed when i received a bill later for additional services that they “mistakenly forgot” to bill me for. I have no insurance and I pay my full bill before leaving the office. I should not be asked to pay an additional amount that they just decided to add.

The front office staff and the team working on both my three year old and myself were fabulous. Kind, friendly and so very welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

I had a routine cleaning and exam on 12/18. Both Nadia and Destiny were very thorough, as well as knowledgeable and made me feel extremely comfortable and confident about my care. I appreciate the front desk being so flexible with me each time I’ve had to reschedule my appointment due to having a baby and needing to arrange childcare. My husband and I have both been very impressed with this practice and care and will be using this dentist for as long as we live here.
